quick-album
-----------

What does it do
---------------
It is a Kylix based Wizard that will take you through the required
steps to generate your own static web-pages with your photo's. It is
ideal for the case where you do not have access to SQL or SSI. It will
generate both high-bandwidth and low-bandwidth pages.

Depends
-------
Please read the DEPENDS file for packages needed to compile/run quick-album.

How does it work?
-----------------
Just run /usr/local/bin/quick_album_gui and follow the on screen
instructions.

Compiling
---------
Ok, this is a tough one. First get all the programs in the DEPENDS
file. Compile and/or install all those that you do not have.

If the versions of xerces-c does not have support for Kylix, apply the
xerces-c.diff as found in the source directory and open the project as
found in xerces-c-src2_2_0/Projects/Kylix and compile. It will
generate a xerces_c.a in the xerces-c-src2_2_0/Projects/Kylix
directory. Copy or create a symbolic link to the quick_album source
directory. You also have to do a normal compile of Xerces-c and
install that because those libraries will also be required. The
configuration process for the normal install will most likely be
needed for the Kylix compile process.

When all the required packages is in place, run "autoconf",
"./configure" and "make". You can install the program with "make
install" and remove it with "make uninstall". The program expects to
be installed to "/usr/local/bin" and "/usr/local/lib/quick_album". If
you move the files some things may break...

The RPM spec file is not portable due to the link to the
xerces_c.a. Therefore I do not distribute a SRPM.
